A word from the photographer:

Large animals such as elephants usually enter into human habitations when they don’t get sufficient food in the jungles. I am very fond of taking Photographs of elephants. But when I went to this village, I found this cruel scene. In order to chase the elephants away, the villagers were throwing fire balls which almost set a cub to fire. An extremely shocking scene, showing the conflict between humans and nature.

Les grands animaux tels que les éléphants pénètrent souvent dans les habitats humains lorsqu’ils ne trouvent pas suffisamment de nourriture dans la jungle. L’éléphant est un animal que j’aime beaucoup photographier. Mais quand je me suis rendu dans ce village, j’ai trouvé cette scène cruelle. Les villageois, pour chasser les éléphants, lançaient des boules de feu qui ont failli mettre le feu à un petit éléphant. Une scène extrêmement choquante qui témoigne du conflit entre les humains et la nature.
